Your new favorite uncle sits you down in the park to talk betrayal, authoritarianism, and the perils of putting all your eggs in one basket. Experimental theater, dance and drag collide in a no-holds-barred extravaganza of camp, earnestness, and awkwardness as a ski ballet champion survives the collapse of the Berlin wall and wonders if he is man enough to ever love again.

Sporting his signature tracksuit and fueled by probiotics and vollkornbrot, Hans L'Adida thirsts for true love only to be thwarted by seemingly endless heartbreak.

Read about Spectacle in Out Front Magazine

An immersive meditation on power, presence, and the quirks and vulnerabilities of the world’s most infamous men, Spectacle invites the audience into a live installation exploring themes of endurance, absurdity, surveillance, and the flip side of an immaculately crafted personal image.

Did you know, for example, that Hitler ate prodigious amounts of cake and is known to have had uncontrollable flatulence, putting the dining etiquette of his companions constantly to the test?

Puppetry, experimental theater, and absurdity collide at a dinner table where the stakes are all too real. How long can you last without spitting out your tea?

“We laughed a lot and cheered a lot and just had a great time. Thank you for doing all the work to create something funny and beautiful and thoughtful and political. We loved it!”
